Funny Hoodies for Couples Cash Me Outside Howbow Dah Meme

It was the invention of the Internet that turned Andy Warhol's "in the future, everyone will be famous for 15 minutes" observation from a clever turn of phrase into a practical guarantee. Indeed, never before in human history has it been so easy to become an internationally famous sensation as it is today.

And with the help of Dr. Phil, the Internet has found its newest instant shooting star: Danielle Bregoli, the 13-year-old knife-wielding teen who has become known for her catchphrase, "catch me outside, how about that" (aka "Cash me ousside, how bow dah", etc.).

In clips from a mid-September 2016 episode of the advice/talk therapy show, called "I Want To Give Up My Car-Stealing, Knife-Wielding, Twerking 13-Year-Old Daughter Who Tried To Frame Me For A Crime," Bregoli charmed audiences with her outsized attitude, a wild accent she learned "from the streets", and a puppy-dog sort of eagerness to throw hands against all takers, whatever the consequences. So what is this girl's deal? Should we be scared? What's the vital intel that we need to know?

She went viral based off people's incorrect memories

When Danielle and her mother appeared on Dr. Phil in fall of last year, their episode came and went without much online fanfare. In fact, it took a handful of months before clips from the episode began to catch on. Why? It started in a subreddit dedicated to the dubious and ludicrous phenomenon some call the "Mandela effect." The road to viral memedom is winding and unpredictable, but praise be to Dat Boi that Danielle found her way from a daytime Dr. Phil appearance into our hearts by way of an obscure subreddit.

Some people aren't happy with her fame

Apparently, despite her popularity, not everyone is happy with Bregoli's newfound fame. One emerging critique is that laughing at this particular meme goes so far as to promote domestic violence, while some others are saying that making light of Bregoli's behavior ignores real-life consequences. Which, fair enough.

But Mama seems pleased

How bow dah mother, Barbara Ann? Barbara Ann—who went on to the Dr. Phil show claiming she no longer wanted to be a parent to her demonic, thieving, punch-throwing, runaway of a child—seems surprisingly okay with her daughter's newfound fame, and the massive attention her daughter's garnered. On the show, she was portrayed as hopeless, at the end of her rope—but also oddly encouraging, choosing to translate even the simplest of English sentences her daughter spewed into a diction people could understand. Like her daughter's chiding the studio audience, saying "all these h**s laughin' like it's so funny." "She's talking about the audience," explained Barbara Ann, helpfully. "They're laughing at her."

This was months ago. Now that the clip has found new life online, the mother-daughter duo's dynamic has seemed to flip, with Danielle being bewildered by the attention, and Barbara Ann steering the ship. Danielle was recorded in Los Angeles in early February as practically speechless, unable to explain to paparazzi how her fame developed. "I don't know. It's just something that happened! I can't control what y'all decide to do with me. That's not me," she said, according to TMZ. "That's y'all."

Which is almost poignant until Danielle recalls that there are enemies outside that need be cashed. "Y'all better stop blinding me," she added. "I'ma punch one of y'all in y'all s***." Only Barbara Ann floats through the scene looking like she knows what she's doing, a calming force in the confusing mob. She returned, along with her daughter, to the show that started it all on February 10, looking much more steady in her role as a budding momager.

She's ready to fight everyone

Okay, maybe you did know this one. Or at least surmised it. But it's not a one-time thing, her violent side. Since inviting the entire audience of a mid-September Dr. Phil taping to meet her outside for hand-to-hand mortal combat, Bregoli has challenged the paparazzi, rushed passengers on airplanes, and that's just what we've got on video.

She's allegedly banned from Spirit Airlines now

While we have yet to personally catch her outside, we do have proof of Bregoli's violent bona fides, in a video taken from an idling Spirit Airlines flight in which it is clear her fame precedes her. In the video, obtained by TMZ, you can hear one of the people standing behind the camera as the close-quarters brawl warms up asking, incredulously, "is this the 'catch me outside' girl?" Granted, this is only after she screamed the catchphrase two or three times, but anyone could do that.

And no one but the originator would charge her opponent with them hands so ferociously, or with such results. The airline, Spirit Airlines, was not amused by the antics of their celebrity passenger. She, her mother, and their not-entirely-innocent co-combatant have all reportedly been banned for life, according to the New York Daily News.

She's got a merch store (and it's utterly beautiful)

Well, you can't be a fully-fledged meme unless you monetize it. (Are we right, Ken Bone?) And the "How Bow Dah" girl is no exception, hitting the ground running with a truly fantastic store page on MyShopify that opened in collaboration with the Los Angeles-based production team PizzaSlime. It is, according to Bregoli's "BhadBhabie" Instagram page, "Official As F***, H*." You can get a "C.M.O.H.B.D" t-shirt, a jigsaw puzzle of Bregoli's face, and our favorite piece of merch probably ever, "Yup a Blanket H*." Pick one up yourself for only $250. Product will be shipping February 20th, arriving probably around the exact moment that this meme dies. So it goes! And how bow dah!

She returned to Dr. Phil

On February 10, 2017, after weeks of memeing Danielle and her mother appeared again on Dr. Phil. Described as a "controversial former guest", Danielle appeared with striking red curls and a slightly more restrained attitude, fresh off of a visit to the Turn-About Ranch, a sort of therapy and behavior correction through horse riding program that Dr. Phil himself recommended. In the interview, we learn a few illuminating things about our favorite scrapper—like how she wants to become a nurse.

Things start well, until Dr. Phil asks how it's been going since she blew up on the Internet. A switch seems to flip, and then she comes for Dr. Phil, telling him she made him like Oprah made him. "You were nothin' before I came on this show," she taunts.

"Thank you, for that," Dr. Phil replied.

For her part, Barbara Ann returns as well. Described on the chyron as a "Former Guest Who Says She Was Unfairly Criticized by Viewers for Being a Bad Mom," Barbara Ann is seen cajoling her daughter into saying "thank you" for the horse riding trip.

She filmed a video for Kodak Black—sort of

In the lead-up to her TV reappearance, Bregoli appeared in a video clip for the rapper Kodak Black's Lil B.I.G. Pac song "Everything 1K," during which she can be seen flashing money and attitude while wearing her own merch and rocking extra long nails. But she stirred up controversy by the way she and her team went about it, posting the video up as though it were an official music video—something Kodak Black's camp vehemently denies. Look, we've got no problem trying to capitalize on your 15 minutes, but the least you can do is go about it with some honor. You can make enemies with that kind of trickery. Or perhaps that's the plan?

How about that, indeed

Look, this probably isn't going to end well; we've seen it happen before. But there's no reason to dwell on that now. Danielle Bregoli has burst into our lives with fists clenched and ready to rumble, and we sit at her mercy until she decides it's time to leave. Who knows what the future holds? Rap songs, VH1 shows, cameos at awards shows—the sky's the limit when you get famous for words so bold. There's no need to take this all that seriously. In fact, we can take the same advice Dr. Phil gave Danielle and her mom. "It's great to have fun," Dr. Phil said. "I don't think there's anything wrong with that."
